Serve as the primary point of contact for all events, collaborating across internal teams to align on objectives, needs, timelines, and coordination.

Manage and evaluate incoming event requests, providing timely responses and ensuring alignment with POW’s mission, audience, and capacity.

Plan and execute a wide range of events, including POW-hosted activations, partner events, and festivals by coordinating logistics such as scheduling, travel, lodging, permitting, vendor relationships, insurance requirements, signage, and merchandise needs.

Support partner-branded activations, ensuring all materials and onsite engagement reflect POW’s values, voice, and climate-forward messaging.

Oversee event kit preparation, shipping, and inventory, maintaining updated records, storage organization, and material readiness across POW hubs.

Provide on-the-ground event leadership, including setup, staff or volunteer coordination, problem-solving, and maintaining a strong, welcoming brand presence.

Manage data tracking, including event sign-ups, attendance, and engagement metrics within POW’s campaigns and CRM systems.

Track event budgets and expenses, submit and reconcile invoices, and support post-event reporting, metrics analysis, and continuous improvement efforts.

Uphold and integrate sustainability best practices into all event planning to ensure low-impact, climate-friendly execution.

Produced large-scale national events including the United in Yosemite festival in partnership with the Yosemite Conservancy and National Park Foundation—offering mentorship and expanding access to the climbing community.

Led planning and execution of flagship gatherings like the Craggin’ Classic series in the New River Gorge and Bishop, balancing logistics, budget oversight, fundraising, vendor coordination, and community engagement.

Built and managed collaborative partnerships across organizations, sponsors, and volunteers—recognized with an Impact Award from Yosemite National Park for contributions to public engagement.

Conceptualized and launched Climb United meetups across the U.S., providing space for mentorship, connection, and leadership development within historically excluded climbing communities.

Created and led the Affiliate Support Network, a program providing funding pathways and strategic guidance to emerging climbing collectives seeking nonprofit status.

Oversaw the Pull Focus Grant with Louder Than 11, contributing to the production of Dear Mother, a film praised for its storytelling and creative vision.

Developed a national database of photographers, guides, and community leaders to increase visibility, access, and professional opportunities within the climbing industry.
